Best therapy EVER May 16, 2007 B. Rimlinger (Gilbert, AZ) 27 out of 28 found this review helpful
I learned this for my friend who has a curved back-very painful. We did it once a week for 14 weeks. Doctor said it was completely healed and during surgery only needed to remove some splinters. The video also helps you learn the technique. Both together are an excellent way to learn. Anyone can do this.
Excellent Resource for Raindrop Technique! April 1, 2009 Kathryn Caywood (Philadelphia, PA USA) 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
This revised and expanded Raindrop Technique book will be enjoyed by at least two groups of people.
1. People who are curious about Raindrop Technique.
2. People who would like a small, easy-to-handle 26-page book to act as a step-by-step guide when doing Raindrop.
If you would like to learn more about Raindrop Technique, this affordable booklet is one of the best ways. It contains step-by-step instructions that are accompanied by full-color diagrams as shown by a live Raindrop facilitator giving Raindrop to a live model. It also provides information on customizing Raindrop to address specific health issues and answers a number of questions that new people may have.
The story of Raindrop Technique begins with the Lakota Indians of North America. By 1989, D. Gary Young had adapted a technique from the Lakota people to one involving the use of essential oils instead of the Aurora Borealis. This means that Raindrop Technique has been around for 20 years (at the time of this review), so it is no longer anything new - except for the lucky people who are only now discovering it for the first time!
If you already own the 2003 edition of this book, why would you want the 2008 version?
1. It contains the new version of Raindrop.
2. The photos are in color.
3. The addition of arrows and lines to the photos make the directions much clearer than in the previous edition.
4. Two pages of before and after photos from live and dry blood analysis! This includes fascinating photos of (1) chaining/clumping of red blood cells, (2) inflammation, (3) yeast and (4) adrenal stress.
What is missing in the 2008 edition that was in the 2003 edition are the two sentences in which Gary Young describes how he gave Raindrop to his son when his son was only five days old.
I highly recommend this book to people who would like to know more about Raindrop and to people who already have an Essential Desk Reference and would like to have a more portable reference to have with them when performing Raindrop Technique.

I am going to massage school & my teacher introduced the raindrop technique to us. I had the raindrop technique done on me 3x it was awesome. It helped with my scolosis, gave me energy & I also felt relaxed within those 3x times I had it done on me. It also gave me clarity & I felt more grounded, balanced in my life. Now I'm giving it to my friends & family & they think its AMAZING. My mom felt relaxed and it help her fibromyalgia. I highly recommend the raindrop technique. I absolutely love the young living essential oils.

If you have taken Raindrop Technique training, or have learned from the DVD, this book is a WONDERFUL reference and reminder of what the process is. Black & white photos of different set-ups and steps of the technique. Well worth the price. Highly recommended!
